Chippewa Valley Symphony Names Kristo Orthodontics Young Artists Competition Finalists
EAU CLAIRE – The Chippewa Valley Symphony Orchestra announces the four finalists of the annual Kristo Orthodontics Young Artists Competition, a contest sponsored by the Chippewa Valley Symphony Orchestra, the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire Department of Music, and Kristo Orthodontics for musicians between 14 and 18 years of age. Congratulations to Angela, Gina, Oliva, and Kaitlyn for being selected as the 2012 finalists! Each finalist will compete in a solo performance with piano accompaniment in Phillips Recital Hall at the Haas Fine Arts Center of the UWEC campus starting at 2:00 pm on January 22, 2012. The performances are free and open to the public. The winner will be featured as a guest artist with the Chippewa Valley Symphony Orchestra at their March 10, 2012 concert, which begins at 7:30 pm at The State Regional Arts Center. Good luck to each of the finalists!
