Chippewa Valley Symphony Foundation
The Chippewa Valley Symphony Foundation is the philanthropic and investment arm of the Chippewa Valley Symphony Orchestra. Founded in 1994 to provide long-term financial support, the Foundation has grown from an initial gift of $20,000 to nearly $1 million in assets. Each year, it distributes a portion of its investment earnings to support the Symphony’s concert season, guest artists, and educational outreach programs. The Foundation plays a vital role in ensuring the Symphony’s artistic excellence and its lasting impact on the Eau Claire community and surrounding region.

ENDOWED CHAIR PROGRAM
The Foundation’s primary focus in the coming years is growing the Endowed Chair program. Contributions to this program help guarantee musician stipends and support guest artist appearances in perpetuity. Donors may choose to support an existing endowed chair or establish one in their own name or in honor of someone meaningful. Gifts can be made as a single contribution or in installments, and may include appreciated assets. The Endowed Chair program strengthens the Symphony’s long-term sustainability and honors the generosity of those who make it possible.
PLANNED GIVING
A planned gift to the Chippewa Valley Symphony Foundation helps secure the future of live symphonic music in our community. Donors who include the Foundation in their estate plans are recognized as members of the Musical Heritage Society, a group of visionary supporters committed to the arts for future generations. Bequests may take the form of cash, stocks, or securities, and can be structured to reflect your values and legacy. Remembering the Foundation in your will is a meaningful way to ensure the music continues for years to come.
