The Friends of the Symphony Christmas Stroll is tomorrow!
We want to make your experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Below are answers to some common questions about the event, from tickets and timing to what to expect at each stop along the tour.
Q: What is the Christmas Stroll?
A: The Christmas Stroll is a multi-home open house featuring fabulous holiday decorations and live music at each stop.
Q: Who organizes the Christmas Stroll?
A: The Christmas Stroll is organized by the Friends of the Symphony, a group of volunteers committed to supporting the Chippewa Valley Symphony Orchestra. From the home hosts to the in-home docents to the musicians, this event is run by volunteers.
Q: What is the purpose of the Christmas Stroll?
A: In addition to being a fun, festive event, the Christmas Stroll is an important source of support for the Chippewa Valley Symphony Orchestra. Less than half of the Symphony’s costs are covered by concert ticket sales, so the orchestra relies on charitable giving, grants, and fundraising events like the Stroll to fund its operations.

A: Tickets are $25/person.
Q: How do I buy a ticket for the Christmas Stroll?
A: Tickets are available in advance at:

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: For tickets purchased in person in advance, we accept cash or check only. On the day of the event, you may purchase your ticket in person with cash, check, credit/debit card, Apple Pay, PayPal, or Venmo.
Q: How do I find the homes?

Q: Can children attend?
A: Children ages 12 and over are welcome to attend.
Q: In what order should I tour the homes?
A: The homes may be toured in any order (though you may enjoy the outdoor lighting display at Laurie’s Highview Home best as darkness falls).
Q: What can I do at Lazy Monk Brewing?
