The Chippewa Valley Symphony Orchestra (CVSO) offers free admission to certain students and their accompanying adults for its Peter at the Wolf concerts on February 28. Below are answers to common questions about free tickets to these events.
Q: Who receives free admission to Peter and the Wolf?
A: CVSO provides free admission to either of its Peter and the Wolf concerts on February 28 to (1) each area third grader and their accompanying adult and (2) each Music Moves Me artist and their accompanying adult.
Q: How do I get free admission?
A: CVSO will provide a paper ticket voucher to your child’s music teacher (for third graders) or art teacher (for Music Moves Me artists). Their teacher will hand out the vouchers at school.
Q: How do I redeem the ticket voucher for tickets?
A: You may redeem the voucher with the Pablo Center box office by phone, in person, or online using the AXS app.
Q: How do I redeem the ticket voucher by phone?
A: To redeem your ticket voucher by phone, call the Pablo Center box office at 715-832-2787 during box office hours. The box office is open Monday to Saturday, 10 AM – 2 PM plus one hour before Pablo Center events.
Q: How do I redeem the ticket voucher in person?
A: To redeem your ticket voucher in person in advance, visit the Pablo Center box office, located at 128 Graham Avenue in downtown Eau Claire, during box office hours. The box office is open Monday to Saturday, 10 AM – 2 PM plus one hour before Pablo Center events.
Q: How do I redeem the ticket voucher online?
A: Please note: In order to receive your free tickets online without fees, you will need to have the AXS app.
To redeem your ticket voucher online:
1. Download the AXS app and create an account if you have not already done so. If you have the app and an account, log in.
2. Search (e.g. for “Peter and the Wolf”) and select which performance you would like to attend, then click the Select Offer button.
3. On the next screen, select the final offer, 3rd Graders & Music Moves Me School Tickets.
4. Enter the code on your ticket voucher when prompted and click the Continue button.
5. You will see a screen that notes there is a limit to tickets using that code. Click the Agreed button.
6. Select your tickets and click Add. There will be a maximum of 2.
7. Click the Checkout button.
8. Agree to Purchase Agreement and click the Place Order button. Please note that to avoid fees, you will need to have the tickets delivered to the AXS app (tickets by mail and will call both incur fees).
Q: How do I redeem the ticket voucher on concert day?
A: You can also redeem the ticket voucher at the Pablo Center box office when you arrive for the concert. Typically the box office is busy during this time, so we recommend you arrive 45 minutes prior to concert time to ensure you have time to get your tickets and get settled before the concert begins.
Q: How do I purchase additional tickets?
A: The voucher is good for complimentary tickets for one youth and one adult. You are of course welcome to purchase additional tickets for your group. If purchasing by phone or in person, the box office can assist you. If purchasing online, you will need to buy your additional tickets in a separate transaction from the voucher redemption.
Q: How much do additional tickets cost?
A: For the 10:30 AM relaxed concert, tickets are general admission and cost $5 per person, including fees. For the 2:00 PM traditional concert, student/youth tickets are $10 + fees and adult tickets start at $25 + fees.
